The 2017 Ford C-MAX Hybrid is designed for fun-to drive performance. It features power-split hybrid architecture, which allows the high-voltage battery and gasoline-powered engine to work together or separately using the motor and generator. Next-generation SmartGauge® with EcoGuide and Brake Coach provide real-time information about your driving performance. Even braking in C-MAX Hybrid is efficient, thanks to regenerative braking, which recovers more than 90 percent of this energy and sends it back to the battery to be stored for later use.
