It is easy to say that many were those waiting impatiently for the Ford Maverick to become available. Let’s now see the differences between the Maverick vs the Ranger.
Considered to be more of a “city” truck, the 2022 Ford Maverick features a unibody design and is the smallest available truck on the market. It is exactly 28 centimeters smaller than the Ranger, but the front is what really distinguishes de Maverick vs the Ranger; the grille on the Maverick is more rectangular and the headlights are a little bigger.
The 2022 Ford Ranger also comes with the Splash package, as well as Splash limited editions throughout the year. What is so special about the Splash edition? The Maverick also offers an optional 2.0 L 4- cylinder EcoBoost engine with 250 horsepower for a total of 277 lb-ft. maximum torque, equipped with all-wheel drive and an 8- speed automatic transmission.

Smaller and more energy efficient, the 2022 Ford Maverick will please a more urban clientele who may not necessarily (or may on rare occasions) require its towing capacities. Also, thanks to a much more powerful towing capacity, the Ranger will easily manage heavier duty jobs and thus become the perfect work companion.
