Overall, the 2024 Ford Bronco is identical to the mid-year 2023 model. Those who love the wilderness can still count on the Bronco to tackle difficult routes without fear. Available in two- and four-door configurations in six and nine different versions, respectively, this all-terrain SUV continues to focus on the demands and preferences of its target clientele.
Depending on the version, the 2024 Bronco will sell for a retail price between $50 thousand (Big Bend) and $115 thousand (Raptor). It’s worth noting that the base version will no longer be available, the Outer Banks version will only be available in a four-door configuration, the Big Bend version will only come with a 2.3 L engine, and the Badlands version equipped with the 2.3 L engine will only be available with a manual transmission. Other new developments: the block heater is now an option on all versions, and the automaker has discontinued two body colors, Code Orange and Area 51. On the other hand, two unique new colors are making an appearance: Shelter Green and Velocity Blue.
The 2024 Ford Bronco should still offer the option of removing the roof (whether soft-top, hardtop or double in the four-door models). The two-door models will feature a hardtop. Meanwhile, the white modular hardtop will come standard on the Heritage and Heritage Limited Editions.
Ford has also made some equipment upgrades. In particular, the 12-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen comes standard on all versions, the connected navigation comes with a one-year subscription, and the mid-range package includes off-road maps (in the Bronco Trail app). Additionally, the automaker has merged the Premium and Deluxe packages for 2024.
Ford has eliminated the front-axle disconnect on certain versions of the 2024 Bronco. This is the case in the Big Bend, Black Diamond and Outer Banks models. On the other hand, the Towing Prep Package will come standard on all versions (except the Raptor), with optional dealer-installed equipment for the towing package.
Other changes include an advanced 4WD system in the Sasquatch Package for the Big Bend, Black Diamond and Outer Banks versions. However, this system is standard equipment on the Badlands, Wildtrak, Everglades, Raptor, Heritage and Heritage Limited versions.
