The number-one pickup in America, the Ford F-150, is retaining all of its fundamental assets for the 2024 model year. These include multiple versions, performance to spare and plenty of comfort and dependability. However, Ford has made a few tweaks to the body, especially in the case of the F-150 Tremor. The automaker has also made a few changes in terms of the available options, along with some updates to the price range.
The expected MSRPs for the SuperCrew versions with all-wheel drive are as follows: $62,180 (XL); $64,590 (STX); $67,225 (XLT); $80,465 (Lariat); $75,980 (Tremor); $91,940 (King Ranch); $100,740 (Platinum); and $106,500 (Raptor).
The F-150 full-size pickup still comes in Regular and SuperCab versions, as well, with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and a choice of bed lengths (5’5″, 6’5″ or 8′).
A first for the Ford F-150: for 2024, the STX version has a new, distinct, more aggressive look. Featuring an attractive price tag, exterior trim that harmonizes with the body color, standard 20-inch rims and a sporty interior with exclusive upholstery, this version aims to compete with the Silverado Custom and Custom Trail Boss.
While the exterior appearance of the Raptor and Raptor R remains essentially the same, notably with their lifted hood, the modifications are more apparent in the other versions. Among other things, these changes affect the grille and the standard LED headlights. On the Tremor, there are alterations to the grille, as well as the light clusters, which now include an orange strip. Ford has also redesigned the rear end, with repositioned taillights sporting a more high-tech look. A new multi-access tailgate is making an appearance, as well.
To complement the F-150’s more rugged look, Ford is still offering six different powertrains. These include a 290 hp V6, a 325 hp V6 turbo, a 400 hp V8, a 450 hp V6 turbo, a 430 hp V6 turbo paired with an electric motor, and a supercharged 700 hp V8.
The cabs of the 2024 Ford F-150 are roomy and exceptionally comfortable. In fact, the level of luxury can rise to stratospheric heights. The 12-inch screen and the touchscreen integrated into the central instrument cluster now come standard on all versions.
