Le Ford Ranger 2019 débarque bientôt chez 440 Ford à Laval

 

It left us in 2011 to make a strong comeback in 2019; the Ford Ranger is reborn to the great delight of pickup lovers in Montreal, Laval and Blainville on the North Shore of Montreal. Build on a high-strength steel frame, the 2019 Ranger will be available in 2 configurations, namely with the SuperCab and the SuperCrew cab. Three versions will be offered, the basic XL, the XLT and the Lariat, the latter also available with the addition of one of 3 packages; Chrome Appearance, Sport Appearance and FX4 Off-Road. The latter includes off-road-tuned shocks, all-terrain tires, frame-mounted skid plates and a Terrain Management System with 4 driving modes: Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud Ruts and Sand, as well as a thick front bash plate mounted on the frame.

Somewhat like a cruise control, the Trail Control technology, adapted to low speeds and rough terrains, manages acceleration and braking, by transmitting the power and braking force to each wheel so that the driver can concentrate on the road. Another super attractive innovation, the intelligent trailer tow connector, which alerts the driver to any problem pertaining to the trailer hitch.

Standard on the FX4 and optional on the other models, we find the Dana Trac-Lok differential and the electronic locking rear differential. Perfect for off-road driving, the FX4 will bring you wherever you want to go, even on steep trails strewn with obstacles. There is nothing it can’t do! Puddle lights, LED headlights and taillights as well as lighting for the cargo bed can be added.

In the interior of the 2019 Ford Ranger, an 8-inch touchscreen display features the 3rd generation of the SYNC Connect system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and also allows you to connect up to 10 devices. As an option, your Ranger can be fitted with the Blind-Spot Information System, the Adaptive Cruise Control and the Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, among other things.

Three new colours have been added to the already existing range, namely Lightning Blue, Magnetic and Saber. The production of the 2019 Ranger will start at the end of this year in the State of Michigan in the United States, and odds are that it will have as much success as its big brother, the F-150, the top-selling truck across Canada since more than 50 years.
