We’ll most likely see the 2024 Ford E-Transit on our roadways around the tail end of this year. Since the difference between the electric version and the conventional version of this van is essentially limited to the powertrain, the 2024 E-Transit should include most of the same changes the automaker has indicated for the regular Transit. These include a few esthetic tweaks and some modifications in the equipment and options, but nothing major in terms of the body or the design.
With its distinctive grille, the 2024 Ford E-Transit will be instantly recognizable. However, the great news for retailers and businesses that own fleets of vehicles is that the 2024 versions of the E-Transit will retain the same MSRP as their 2023 counterparts. Consequently, the T350 base model with a low roof and 130-inch wheelbase will still be available starting at $70,450. Following the same logic, the T350 models with a 148-inch wheelbase will be $71,450 for the low-roof version, $73,150 for the medium-roof version and $75,100 for the high-roof version.
The same goes for the high-roof version of the extended-length configuration: the T350 with a 148-inch wheelbase will still start at $76,100. The price for the cutaway model with a 156-inch wheelbase will be $67,955, while the chassis cab model with a 156-inch wheelbase will go for $68,705.
The 2024 Ford E-Transit could avail of some of the electrical components found in the F-150 Lightning. If so, this would translate into more power, as well as a greater range. At a minimum, we’re talking about a 74 kWh battery offering a range of 380 kilometers. Additionally, it would still be possible to get a 125 kW rapid recharge system. As a result, you would be able to charge the battery from 15 to 80 percent in as little as 40 minutes. However, Ford has yet to confirm any details.
