The 2022 Ford Ranger is undoubtedly more powerful than its Japanese counterpart.

  • In terms of exterior design, the Ranger seems to be a redesigned model, which therefore draws inspiration from its old models, while being modernized.

  • The finishes of the Ranger are more angular while being more refined, while those of the Tacoma, which opts for a more rounded concept, are marked and distinct.
  • The dimensions of the two models remain very close, with only a few centimeters more in length for the Toyota 2022 (about 216 inches, compared to 212 for the Ford).
  • The interior of the two vehicles is very similar, with modules specific to compact pick-ups, both practical and comfortable. Everything here is a matter of taste and preference, because comfort and options are close. Note, however, that the Tacoma does not offer USB ports or a mobile hotspot.
